What are your products made of?
All of our products are made of 100% certified organic cotton, which means they are completely free of pesticides, chemicals, toxins, BPA, lead, vinyl, PVC, phthalates… the list goes on. All of our colored fabrics have been dyed with either organic, low-impact or vegetable-based dyes and inks. We also try and use the most eco-friendly notions we can find, which means if we can find organic thread in the color we need, we’ll use it!
Where do you get your organic cotton?
We are very picky about who we buy our materials from, and we use as much U.S. grown organic cotton as possible. However, this can be hard to come by, so there is a fair amount of fabric that we use that is manufactured or woven in India. We do make sure, though, that the fabrics we use have been produced in conformance to the Global Organic Textile Standards.
Who makes your products and where are they made?
We make every product ourselves, and we do so right here in Florida! Mom is the master seamstress around here, and we have a couple family friends that help sew as well. We are proud to be a family run business, and plan to stay that way.
How can your products be cleaned?
Almost everything we make is machine washable! We know how easily things can get dirty, especially with little ones around. So we keep that in mind when we are designing our products. Even our purses can be tossed in the wash, right along with the rest of your laundry. The only thing not machine washable is our Travel/Toddler Pillow — it should be spot cleaned only, because machine washing something filled with batting or stuffing can cause terribly unruly bunching – and no one wants that!
Sandwich and Snack Bag Questions:
Many people want to know how much they can save by using our bags. How much money can be saved? How much plastic can be saved? How much GARBAGE can be saved?
Well, I’ve done some figuring, and here’s what I’ve come up with:
Let’s say you have two children, and you pack their lunches for school. Assuming you use one plastic sandwich-sized baggy and two plastic snack-sized baggies each, you’re looking at over 1,000 plastic baggies being used by the end of the school year! Over 1,000 plastic baggies!Think of how many chemicals are being used to create those thousand bags, and then think about 1,000+ little plastic baggies being thrown away each school year from your family alone… not to mention the millions of other families using them everyday as well.
So now let’s talk about cost. Assuming the same family added up their total amount of money spent on plastic sandwich and snack baggies for a school year, they’re looking at $40-50, conservatively. For the same amount of money, they could purchase each child a set of 3 organic cotton sandwich and snack bags, which would not only cut down drastically on the amount of garbage they created, but it would also ensure that no toxins were touching their food, and no pesticides or chemicals were used in the growing of that cotton.

How does using Organic Sandwich and Snack Bags help the earth? Let me count the ways:
1. No chemicals or pesticides are used in the farming of organic cotton. Less chemicals and pesticides spread for farming, means less spread in the air we breathe, therefore creating a much safer and healthier environment for everyone.
2. The inside of our Organic Sandwich and Snack Bags are lined with un-dyed, unbleached organic cotton. No chemicals, no dyes, no plastic linings. Nothing but clean, pure cotton is touching your food.
3. Think of how much plastic you throw away after a meal. For one person, who packs their lunches every other day, you throw away an average of 1,000 little plastic baggies each year! Imagine how tall a pile of 1,000 baggies would be. Now imagine it disappearing, because with reusable bags, you are sparing the earth a lot of trash!
Reduce, Reuse, Recycle!
